How do I get from the airport to the Villa?

Our bilingual concierge (Francisco) will arrange for airport transportation to and from the Villa. Please provide him with arrival details and he will coordinate with airport pick-up with a professional transportation company.

Punta Mita is one of the safest places in Mexico. The greater Puerto Vallarta tourist area does not have issues related to Northern Mexico or Mexico City. Punta Mita has excellent security staff and our villa is 50 yards from the security gate of the Lagos Del Mar Estates Development. All guests must show security clearance at the main gate and again at the Lagos del Mar Estates security gate. There are cameras at the beach and elsewhere on the property. Punta Mita has security guards in vehicles and on foot performing their rounds 24 hours each day.

The Villa has a water purification system that purifies the water in the house and is safe to drink. Bottled water is also available, and most guests prefer to use the bottled water provided by the house and elsewhere.

Pacifico Beach Club, Kupuri Beach Club, and Surf Club and Sufi Ocean Club are available for all guests. You can use the dining facilities, rent kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, etc. Pacifico and Kupuri have excellent dining facilities and a private pool, as well as beautiful beaches. The Surf Club has an entrance fee and offers fun water sports for all activity levels. The Sufi Ocean Club has a private pool, rustic dining, and is located next to the Punta Mita pier. The St. Regis Beach Club is also available for our guests (subject to availability); however, the club expects your use of the bar and restaurant will cover the entry fee. The St. Regis has a wonderful Spa that our guests can enjoy. The Four Seasons has various restaurants and a great Spa; however, use is subject to availability.

Francisco will buy food and beverages for our guests prior to their arrival. Guests will send him a grocery and shopping list prior to their arrival. Our full-time staff will prepare and serve breakfast and lunch. A professional chef can prepare the evening meal if guests prefer. Our guests only pay for food and beverages and the cost of the professional chef. Frequently our guests may use the Chef some nights and then go to dinner at a number of great restaurants within the Gates of Punta Mita or the small town located just outside the gates. Francisco can help you with dining options and menus.

Our guests can enjoy both the Pacifico and the Bahia 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses. These two courses are world-class courses with high rankings. There are both tennis and pickleball courts available.  In addition to the fitness room at the Villa, there is a large fitness center next to the tennis courts. Our guests have access to the fitness center from noon until closing, daily. There are fees for all guests to play golf or tennis. There are a number of other golf courses in the Puerto Vallarta area for those who are avid golfers looking for variety.

Just outside the gates of Punta Mita is the Punta Mita Hospital with excellent doctors and modern equipment. Puerto Vallarta also has a number of good hospitals.

Gratuities are common in Mexico. Guests should tip based on the service that our staff provides. The general rule of thumb is 15-20% of the total rent for your stay, divided however you feel appropriate among the staff members. We recommend that each staff member be given their gratuity directly. We have envelopes available, should you wish to use them for providing gratuities. The staff appreciates any tips you give them!

Francisco, our bilingual house concierge will make all arrangements for your fun and enjoyment. He will book whale watching, fishing, boat trips, arrange for in-house massages, schedule tee times, take you to the Zip Line, and other enjoyable things to do in and around Punta Mita. Just let him know what you wish to do and let him make the arrangements.

You will need to pay in cash, prior to your departure, all expenses for your food, beverages, and other third-party costs (paid by Francisco on your behalf – massages, boat trips, chef, golf, etc.). If you run out of cash, you can get small amounts of Mexican Pesos from local ATM’s. You should bring enough cash to cover expenses that can’t be covered by credit cards. Golf, tennis, restaurants, and similar locations you can use credit cards.
